Advocacy
The most important tasks of TSTS ry are to take care of students'
benefits and rights.
Board members sit in working groups at Turku University of Applied Sciences, which deal with different fields of study.
as well as certain course modules.
A team was launched in 2021 where student representatives and school representatives meet and discuss student feedback and wishes . The team's purpose is to immediately process the feedback and make practical changes.
We also have a deviation report, through which you can leave any feedback to the association or school. We will forward the message to the correct address and make sure that the matter is handled!
Examples of TSTS ry's achievements:
Health students received vaccines for free for the first time in 2015. Before this, mandatory vaccines cost students up to €200 . The advocacy work was initiated by TSTS ry and the student union TUO.
